What do I need for a Yoga Practice?

If you have a yoga mat, a couple of yoga blocks, a stretch band, and yoga balls, have them ready, but you can manage just with a simple yoga mat.

How IT all started...

A really long story short...

Many moons ago, before I have learned that a true healing comes from the inside and not from some magic pill prescribed by a super-duper expert in a white coat, with a triple PhD, I was a very different specimen of a human back then, and frankly, not the best kind of a human. The type that is running on autopilot, convinced that money can buy happiness and freedom.

It took an injury that I couldn't fix with any of known to me western methods to make some adjustment in my thinking. I had to fall on my face many times, exhaust all known to me options before I decided to try something new.

My healing journey started with a decision to take my health in my own hands.

My first humble step in a direction of a self-healing was making an adjustment in my diet, which followed by a decision to create a Hatha Yoga based routine that I would stick to no matter where I was.

Making those two simple adjustments in my daily routine started an irreversible process which is often called by a enigmatic name 'Awakening'.

I am not going to discuss the awakening here, or how I found myself meditating in the jungle of Peruvian Amazon and later at the footsteps of the Himalayas...  I simply have to mention it here to illustrate that sometimes a tiny change is all that it takes to start something big...

What to expect from the practice?

Have NO expectations!

Do not expect miracles unless you are willing to set your mind on something and stick to it.
